This hotel is awesome! The staff go over and beyond to make your stay wonderful. It was our 50th anniversary. The young lady at the front desk always had a smile. She gave us directions to all the places we wanted to visit. We had a beautiful room that they placed flower petals with towel swans on our bed. The staff even signed a card for us. The hotel owner was so friendly. He was always around making sure things went smoothly. We enjoyed the full breakfast each morning. You can't go wrong with this hotel.

The staff at this hotel was extremely friendly and welcoming. Hot breakfast buffet, which was excellent ever morning. Room was clean as well as the bathroom. Definitely worth the money. Only downfall was the location, about a block from the beach, but the balconies had absolutely NO view. I would absolutely stay here again.

My husband and I were celebrating our 39th anniversary. Before we arrived I emailed and requested an upper floor room with a view of the lighthouse. I told them in my email that we were celebrating our anniversary. When we arrived we were greeted with "happy anniversary" from the hostess that checked us in. What a nice touch. In our room we found a "happy 39th anniversary" card, signed by each staff member of the hotel and a bottle of Martini&Rossi sparkling wine with 2 glasses. Another nice touch. Breakfast was good....nice selection of cold and/or hot food. We were greeted each morning by owner and staff. We were offered fresh fruit each morning. Beds are comfortable. It was nice to have a balcony. When we checked out we were asked by staff if we enjoyed our anniversary. Nice touch!! We had a very nice stay at Holiday Inn Express - St Augustine/Vilano Beach. Thank you.....

We had a fine time at this hotel. Room was larger than expected and bigger than most, based on other recent hotel stays. Real plus was the spacious balcony. Think every room has a balcony. Breakfast was great with a large selection of tasty items. Owner frequently was there and often passing out homemade muffins- super. During our multi-day stay the hotel staff was friendly and very accommodating.

Near to St Augustine, but free parking. Easy to get taxis to and from St Augustine (sadly no water taxis though). Very welcoming and helpful staff. Good breakfast with lots of choice, the best cinnamon buns! Near to the beach, a supermarket and a couple of restaurants. It was good to have a balcony.

right off the A1A, close to the beach and pier w beautiful sunset viewing located in a cute little village. There is a Publix grocery store, several nice restaurants and shops here too. Less than 2 miles from Downtown St. Augustine. Free parking , a very clean and friendly hotel. We had a nice room w a balcony on the 2nd floor and it was very quiet. The free breakfast was a good selection of hot items and Fahrid the owner is handing out fresh ripe fruit, chatting with his customers and busing tables.

We've stayed at many hotel's in the past fifty years and many served a complimentary breakfast as part of the stay. The breakfast that was served at this Holiday Inn Express at Vilano Beach was by far the best breakfast we've ever had and and the staff were great.

It is an excellent location. Walking distance the beach and they provide wagons, chairs, even beach toys! The breakfast was excellent and the owner circulated with fruit trays and cleared the tables himself. Every staff member was very polite and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. They had an ample supply of Dove products in the rooms: hand wash, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The Publix across the street was convenient to buy snacks.

Location; short walk to beach, restaurants, Publix, pier, etc. Best thing were the staff. Everyone we came in contact with was very pleasant, neatly dressed, and actually looked happy to be there. Breakfast bar selection was wonderful. Can't wait 'til the hotel's restaurant and full bar is open soon!
